Combined Federal Campaign
Workplace Giving Drive
The mission of the Combined Federal Campaign is to promote and support philanthropy through a program that is employee focused, cost-efficient, and effective in providing all federal employees the opportunity to improve the quality of life for all.
CFC is the world's largest and most successful annual workplace charity campaign, with more than 300 CFC campaigns throughout the country and internationally to help to raise millions of dollars each year. Pledges made by Federal civilian, postal and military donors during the campaign season (September 1st to December 15th) support eligible non-profit organizations that provide health and human service benefits throughout the world.
CSAH was recently awarded the coveted Best in America seal through CFC. This seal of excellence is awarded to members of Independent Charities of America and Local Independent Charities of America that have, upon rigorous independent review, been able to certify, document, and demonstrate on an annual basis that they meet the highest standards of public accountability, program effectiveness, and cost effectiveness.
These standards include those required by the US Government for inclusion in the
CFC, probably the most exclusive fund drive in the world. Of the 1,000,000 charities operating in the US today, it is estimated that fewer than 50,000, or 5 per cent, meet or exceed these standards, and, of those, fewer than 2,000 have
been awarded the Best in America Seal of Excellence.
CSAH will be included in this years Combined Federal Campaign, (CFC), the world’s
largest and most successful annual workplace charity campaign, with more than 300 CFC campaigns throughout the country and internationally to help to raise millions of dollars each year for eligible non-profit organizations that provide health and human service benefits throughout the world. CSAH is a member of the Military, Veterans and Patriotic Service Organizations Federation within the CFC Give-at-Work fundraising campaign, which runs from September 1, 2008 to December 15, 2008.
